The background
ANIMA is a not-for-profit organization committed to reduce the high rate of youth unemployment in Uruguay as well as increasing the chances of youth obtaining their high school diploma through their tuition-free educational programs. Every year they support over 200 students but to do so, they must raise awareness, public interest and educate the community about their mission to beable to successfully fundraise and obtain donations from companies and individuals to financiallysupport their programs.
Our client
ANIMA is an educational organization based in Uruguay with the goal of bringing together the job market and the world of education by providing at-risk Uruguayan youth with tuition-free education in the areas of Tech and Business Administration.
The solution
Dura Digital supported ANIMA through a digital marketing campaign that included the production of an institutional promotional
video, a virtual fundraising campaign through Global Giving and an email marketing effort.
The target audience of this campaign was North American donors, in particular Uruguayans that emigrated to Canada and USA.
The results
ANIMA firmly believes in the potential of our youth and the transformative power of education and quality work in the quest for learning.
With every $5,000 raised, ANIMA was able to fund one full year of learning for one more Uruguayan youth.
Through this campaign, they were able to hit their targets in terms of donors, which resulted in the organization reaching their fundraising goal as part of Global Giving campaign “Giving Tuesday”.
